Share a tip on the best places to see spring blooms: you could win a £200 holiday voucher

Flowers and blossom are starting to peep out in woods, parks, meadows and gardens in the UK and across Europe – tell us your favourite places for them. The best tip wins £200 towards a Sawday’s stay

Blooms – yellow and pink, white and purple – add a vivid backdrop to spring countryside from the Cornish coast to Slovakia’s river gorges and the Picos de Europa in Spain, and even if you don’t know your bloody cranes-bill from your hairy greenweed, we would like to hear which beauty spots – including parks and gardens – across the continent you would head to to enjoy spring flowers.

If you have a relevant photo, do send it in – but it’s your words that will be judged for the competition.

Keep your tip to about 100 words

The best tip of the week, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, will win a £200 voucher to stay at a Sawday’s property – the company has more than 3,000 in the UK and Europe. The best tips will appear on the Guardian Travel website, and maybe in the paper, too.
