There’s more to Belgium than beer and chocolate, although that’s a good start. As well as the lures of medieval Ghent and Bruges there are many beautiful small towns, battlefield memorials, great museums and plenty of extraordinary architecture. Less well known are its natural reserves and great woods, such as the huge Sonian forest. We want to hear about your trips there, whether outdoor or indoor, cultural or adventurous. Tell us about activities and places where you had memorable meals, superb family days out or a good night’s sleep.
Send us a tip via GuardianWitness, with as much detail as you can (including website and prices etc, if possible) in around 100 words.
The best tips will appear in print in next weekend’s Travel section and the winner, chosen by Lonely Planet, will receive a £200 hotel voucher from UK.hotels.com, allowing you to stay in more than 260,000 places worldwide. Submit your tip by clicking the blue button and using the text tab.
You’re welcome to add a photo if you own the copyright to it – but it’s the text we’ll be judging.
