A local’s view of Texas – in pictures

Texas is a mix of the old (west) and the new - from hip bands at the SXSW festival in Austin to traditional cowboy boots that are made to measure, and smokin' barbecue joints that give you a flavour of the state. Photographer Sarah Lim, currently on the road with the Guardian's Katie Rogers, gives her personal take on the Lone Star state
