Readers’ travel tips: French markets

France does a lot of things very well, and when it comes to market day it tops the table. Overflowing farmers’ markets in tiny towns, famous antique stalls in Paris or the daily fish markets on the Atlantic coast selling glistening seafood straight off the boat.
