Time trial

The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld two complaints against Hoverspeed, which had claimed that it was the longest-established cross-Channel operator, and that its Dover to Calais crossings took just under an hour. The ASA said both claims were "misleading". A western Channel operator had been established longer than Hoverspeed, and the latter's average crossing time for the previous month was 62.2 minutes.
