The Great Gatsby – The Musical, King's Head Theatre, Islington, N1, to 1 September, kingsheadtheatre.org World premiere from the Ruby In The Dust company. Intriguing new take on F Scott Fitzgerald's American classic, starring Sean Brown and Melissa Sturridge.

Taragano Theatre presents Chrysallis, Etcetera Theatre, camden, NW1, to 11 August, etceteratheatre.com As part of the Camden Fringe, Mariana Taragano choreographs a journey from birth to the moment that a woman realises that she is – in fact – a woman.
