It has been a sunny week across all of Europe, which will have a detrimental effect on the snow low down. There are still some excellent conditions up high though, especially in France and Switzerland.
Austria
Obergurgl (***) and St Anton (***) have plenty of skiing due to their high altitude, but the lower slopes in Zell am See (**) have suffered.
France
Tignes (****) has good snow up high. Alpe d'Huez (***) has extensive skiing up high, but heavy slopes in the afternoon.
Switzerland
Zermatt ***) and Saas Fee (***) still have nice skiing.
Italy
For the best chance of quality snow, head to Cervinia (***). Val Senales (**) also has a glacial area. In the Dolomites, Madonna (**) still has most of its pistes open, but lower runs are becoming worn.
Andorra
Soldeu (***) and Pas de la Casa (***) still have all lifts and pistes open, but the runs are a little hard packed at the top and soft at resort level.
US
Skiing has been excellent in Colorado, Utah and California. On the east coast, there's been more rain in Killington (**) and Sugarbush (**).
Canada
The Banff Resorts (****) all have great conditions, especially Sunshine . Over in the east, the cover in Tremblant (***) and Mont Sainte-Anne (**) is thin, but snow is forecast.
Key to conditions
