UK newlyweds: are you going to do a ‘buddymoon’ or have you had one?

We’re keen to hear from married UK couples who had or are planning to have friends or family join them on their honeymoon

Opting for a holiday with friends and family after a wedding is becoming popular for newlyweds, who may go on a so-called 'buddymoon' instead of on a traditional honeymoon.

Is the honeymoon, usually the preserve of newlyweds, about to be eclipsed by the “buddymoon”, where friends and family are invited?

According to a survey by the online wedding hub Hitched, a fifth of couples intending to marry would consider having a “buddymoon”.

We’d like to hear from you if you’ve had a buddymoon or are planning one.

What prompted you to opt for such a group gathering? What were your experiences? Did it all go swimmingly? Or were there things you’d do differently if you had your time again?

If you’re planning for a buddymoon, how is that going?
