The Guardian has teamed up with Alastair Sawday’s to offer readers two-for-one pub lunches at 51 of Sawday’s handpicked pubs across England plus some in Wales.

Sawday’s have been seeking out special pubs for over 10 years. Their team of inspectors look for friendly locals, community hubs and fine gastro pubs. You can redeem your lunch voucher at the 51 participating pubs throughout August and September 2015.

The voucher is available to download and print from 00:05 on 1 August 2015 until 23:59 on 7 August 2015. The voucher may be redeemed at a participating Sawday’s venue between 1 August 2015 and 30 September 2015.

Terms and conditions

1. The offer is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and Alastair Sawday Publishing Co. Ltd, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the administration of this offer. Participation in this offer requires access to the internet.
2. The offer is limited to one voucher per person and ends on 30 September 2015.
3. To obtain your 2 for 1 lunch voucher visit theguardian.com/sawdays-241-discount between 1 – 7 August 2015 and enter your name and contact details in the online form. When completing the form, if you tick the box which reads, “Tick this box to receive the latest news and special offers from Sawday’s” you are consenting to your contact details being passed to Alastair Sawday Publishing Co. Ltd and to receiving email and/or postal communications from Alastair Sawday Publishing Co. Ltd regarding news and special offers from Sawday’s. If you do not tick this box your name and contact details will be used only for the purposes of the administration of this offer.
4. Upon completion of the online form you will be directed to a webpage carrying your 2 for 1 lunch voucher. To redeem your voucher you must print it and present it on arrival at a participating Sawday’s venue between 1 August - 30 September 2015. Participating venues can be found at www.sawdays.co.uk/guardianpubs.
5. The offer is limited to participating Alastair Sawday’s venues in the UK only. The offer constitutes 2 for 1 on selected main courses for lunch sittings, with the cheapest (or equal-priced) dish being free. Participating Sawday’s venues reserve the right to offer a special menu for the purposes of this offer. Drinks, service charge and additional purchases are at the voucher-holder’s own cost and must be paid in full. Additional terms and conditions may apply at individual venues – please check with the venue on arrival.
6. The offer is available from 1 August – 30 September 2015 on a minimum of 6 days a week at the participating venue’s discretion, including at least one weekend day. Details of exclusions for individual participating venues can be found at www.sawdays.co.uk/guardianpubs.
7. Pre-bookings are advised and a valid voucher must be presented on arrival at the venue.
8. Each voucher can only be used once. This offer cannot be used against pre-existing bookings or in conjunction with any other offer. Only one voucher can be used for each meal purchased.
9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of participating in this offer. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with this offer. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter under law for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.

11. There is no cash alternative for vouchers and vouchers are non-transferable.

The decision of the Promoter in all matters relating to this offer is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
