For some, it's the sight of daffodils pushing up through new grass. For us, the arrival of spring is heralded by the return of wine tastings at Caves Augé. After several cold and dry months of inactivity, the free tastings will begin again this weekend with winemakers from the Jura, Savoie and Alsace.

10 March: winemakers from the Jura, Savoie and Alsace, including Audrey & Christian Binner, Dominique Belluard, André Ostertag, Emmanuel Houillon, Gérard Schueller, Stéphane Tissot, Jean-Yves Peron, Raphaël Bartucci, Jean François Gannevat, Philippe Bornard and Jacques Maillet.
7 April: winemakers from the Rhone Valley, including Jean-Paul Daumen, Dard et Ribo, Éric Pfefferling, Guy Jullien, Jean-Michel Stéphan, Hervé Souhaut, Thierry Allemand, Gérald Oustrict, Michèle Aubéry Laurent, and Pierre Clape.
12 May: winemakers from the Beaujolais region, including Matthieu Lapierre, Jean Foillard, Yvon Métras, Charlie Thévenet, Philippe Valette, Jean-Paul Thévenet, Georges Descombes, Philippe Jambon and Damien Coquelet.
16 June: winemakers from the Loire Valley, including Thierry Puzelat, Frantz Saumon, Émile Hérrédia, Olivier Lemasson, Eric Morgat, Pascal Potaire, Benoît Courault, Alexandre Bain, Jérôme Lenoir, Pascal Simonutti, Mark Angeli and Claude Courtois.
