Snow of the week
The Alps are on tenterhooks for more snow to cap off an already fine season. Cloud has moved in across France, western Switzerland and Italy, but for all the high winds no white stuff yet. Alpe D'Huez (110/250cm) has some great skiing on the pistes and mogul runs. Upper areas in Courchevel (95/188cm) and Méribel (60/188cm) are in good condition.
Andorra, cementing its place as a stalwart of the snow scene, has been replenished. Arcalis (200/310cm) and Arinsal (170/220cm) have great conditiions.
New snow has fallen across most of the western US and Canadian resorts, while the east still has some great snow conditions. The top conditions can be found in Colorado - fresh powder in Breckenridge (150/195cm) and deep snow in Beaver Creek (135/183cm) and Aspen (129/182cm).
