1 Entrants must be between the age of 18 and 25.

2 Professional journalists are not eligible to enter.

3 Respondents must be UK residents and hold a valid passport.

4 All necessary visas and travel insurance are the responsibility of the winners.

5 Flights are not transferable and there is no cash alternative.

6 Return flights must be taken by February 28 2003 and must originate from the UK.

7 Winners may be required for publicity purposes.

8 The judges' decision is final. They reserve the right to withhold one or both prizes in the event of the entries failing to reach the required standard. No correspondence will be entered into.

9 One winner will be awarded a long-haul flight and the other a European flight.

10 The winner's choice of destination is subject to the approval of the judges.

11 Proof of posting is not proof of delivery.

12 Employees of the Guardian Media Group or STA Travel, their agents or families are not eligible to enter.
